Support for Chromecasts is ending
We are phasing out support for Chromecasts in 2026 as part of a transition to a standardised, managed display setup across the church. This change is intended to provide a more reliable and consistent experience when using shared displays.
Chromecasts may still be available on some displays, however support will be limited and availability will decrease over time. Where possible, users should plan to use the new standard display setup instead of casting.
Chromecasts are installed on a number of displays around the church property, allowing you to wirelessly mirror your device screen or play content from your device.
You must be connected to the church's Wi-Fi networks in order to cast (MCBC or MCBC Guest).
To cast your device screen:
Windows & macOS devices: Open Chrome browser, click
(three dots, top right) and then Cast
Android: Download the Google Home app, select the cast device and then tap

iOS: Download the TV Mirror for Chromecast app, select the cast device and then tap TV Mirror
Playing a YouTube video:
Windows & macOS devices: Play a video in the Chrome browser, then click
Play on TV
Android & iOS: Play a video in the YouTube app, then tap
