This article is intended for personnel who need to connect to the corporate Wi-Fi network only. All other users are directed to use the guest Wi-Fi network "MCBC Guest"
For security reasons, the guest Wi-Fi network password is not published online. Please see the church administrator or contact IT department personnel for access.
Users who are issued with an MCBC account with an @mcbc.org.au username can connect to the on-site Wi-Fi network.
If you are invited as a guest user to Microsoft 365 (using your own email address), you will not be able to connect using your own Microsoft account credentials - please use the guest network instead.
When on the church premises, connect to the "MCBC" Wi-Fi network. You will be asked to supply a username and password. Use the same username and password as your MCBC account to sign in to the network.
If you are prompted to trust a certificate, you must trust it to continue.
Unlike signing in to Microsoft 365 services online, you will not be required to use multi-factor authentication to sign in to on-site Wi-Fi.
For users who wish to change their password before connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Hybrid/cloud users with a Microsoft 365 account - change your password through the Microsoft online services portal
- Local only users who do not have a Microsoft 365 account - change your password through an on-site computer. You must be physically present at the church to change your account settings.
